The truth is I don\u2019t know where it started from to give someone credit for it. My Aunt Marie, Who we call Mickey, gave it to me over 30 years ago and I have been making it as a quick desert ever since. It\u2019s easy to make, and great with ice cream. I hope you will enjoy it as uch as my family does.<\/p>\n<p>Marie\u2019s Cobbler<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsbanglesbohemian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/purple5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-49\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beadsbanglesbohemian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/purple5-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"purple5\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.beadsbanglesbohemian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/purple5-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.beadsbanglesbohemian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/purple5-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>1 stick (\u00bd cup) butter or margarine<\/p>\n<p>2 cups sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 cup flour<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon baking powder<\/p>\n<p>2\/3 cup milk<\/p>\n<p>1-15oz. can of peaches or other canned fruit<\/p>\n<p>4 cups fresh fruit such as blueberries, plums or cherries<\/p>\n<p>Steps<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash and prep your 4 cups of fresh fruit. I like to cut it into medium size chunks or slice it. I used plums from my daughter Alana&#8217;s plum tree for this one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-31 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beadsbanglesbohemian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/P7220053-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.beadsbanglesbohemian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/P7220053-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.beadsbanglesbohemian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/P7220053-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven at 350 degrees<\/li>\n<li>In a small bowl, melt the butter or margarine.<\/li>\n<li>Pour melted butter into a 5 quart (11 x 15) glass baking dish.<\/li>\n<li>In another bowl mix together 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 2\/3 cup of milk. Mix until everything is well blended.<\/li>\n<li>Pour batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Using the juice from the fruit is very important to this cobbler.
